Entry through the ticketbooth. Spectators will receive a wristband (unlimited entry).

We will be using marks on athletic.net to seed teams. If you have another mark you obtained elsewhere, you may enter the mark manually.
Payment
Coaches can pay by cash, card, or with a check on the day of the meet. Please make checks payable to Downey High School.

If school-issued checks are not available by meet day, a personal check can be used, and we will hold it for one week.
Individual Event Registration
We will be allowing teams to submit up to 5 entries per individual event. We will do our best to accommodate as many athletes as possible; however, we will be limiting heat numbers for this meet to keep the meet from running too long.
Relay Team Registration
All teams will be guaranteed 2 relay teams for sprint events and 3 for distance events.
Entry Status
Entry Status (accepted/rejected/waitlisted) will be available to view on Monday (March 23rd) at 9 pm.
Scratch Window/Waitlist
A scratch window will open up Tuesday (March 24th) to allow waitlisted athletes an opportunity to enter events.
Please note NO ADDS will be allowed on the day of the meet. If there is a substitution that needs to be made, one can go to the timing tent located by the finishline to make the change.
Parking
Parking will be FREE.
The stadium (northern) parking lot will be open. Additional parking in the southern parking lot, as well as parking along Lakewood and 3rd Street or city parking around the school.

Bus Parking: Parking off Lakewood Blvd and 3rd Street (Baseball Field)
We Recommend arriving early as there will be another large event on campus.

Coaches Info
Check-in
All participants must check in at the Clerk of the Course when their event is called. Field athletes (excluding discus) will be required to check in at the clerk of the course when their flight is called.
Clerk of the Course
Located by the 100m mark.
All four relay runners should report when the clerk makes the call. All relay runners will receive a hip number to place on the left side of their hip. Distance runners will also be given an additional hip number to place on the left side of their chest.

Announcements will be made over the intercom regarding first, second and final call. Please advise your athletes to be attentive to avoid any scratches.
School Packets
School Packets can be picked up at the basketball courts located by the 150m mark.
​
Athletes will be required to wear a wristband to enter the track. Wristbands will be provided at the spike check station located by the 100m mark.
IN-FIELD ACCESS
ONLY COMPETING ATHLETES WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE IN-FIELD.
Results
Official results will be posted by the end of the day on athletic.net. Live results will be available on AthleticLive, accessible through the meet page on athletic.net. Results will also be visible on the Jumbotron.
Warm-Up Area
Warm-up areas are located East of the Track on the softball fields - entry is located at the east end of the main stands.
B & C Teams
A & B teams will be accepted for short-distance events. A, B, & C teams will be available for distance events. Additional teams will be available, depending on the heat size.
Field Event Athletes
Field event athletes will be called up by flights over the PA system. Athletes should report to the Clerk of the Course when their flight is called to check in. Discus athletes can report directly to the discus official.
Canopies
Canopies will only be allowed along the top of the stadium and visitor-side bleachers. Canopies can also be placed in the warm-up area field.
Awards
The top 3 teams in the running events will receive medals for each member.

Field events will give medals to the top 3 individuals.
In races with heats, places will be determined by using the overall fastest times.
If a B or C team places in the top 3, they will receive the medals for that place.

Schedule of Events
Running Events (Start Time 7:30am)
Our meet will follow a rolling schedule, meaning the next event will begin immediately after the last event ends.
If an event has no entries, we will immediately seed the next event.

Restrooms
Restrooms are available at the back of the home side stadium as well as at the entrance of the visitor side bleachers.
Concession stand
Located on the home side stadium snack shack for morning coffee, light breakfast, snacks, and lunch. Teams can purchase team lunches at a discount price if ordered by 9:30 am for 10 or more athletes.
