New Member Checklist

Below is a checklist of everything you should do to get started in the program.

Athletic Clearance

• All athletes required to be cleared prior to participation in afterschool activates.

• See athletic clearance section for more info.

Read/Sign Contract

• Can be obtained online or through Coach Storey.

• Turn in to Coach Storey.

Bring Appropriate Attire

• Downey shirt is required for practice.

• Shorts can be any kind so long as they are not blue.

• If you need to purchase attire, see Coach Storey.

  • Spirit packs also come with attire.

  • If you are in need of assistance with obtaining Downey gear please see Coach Storey as soon as possible.

Bring appropriate footwear

• See a coach for any recommendations.

Fees/ Fundraisers

• ASB Sticker

  • Can be obtained through ASB Window during snack or lunch.

  • Notify Coach Storey of ASB Sticker purchase.

• Chocolate Box Fundraiser

  • Obtain box (2) from Coach Storey

  • After selling all chocolates, enter money into envelope and fill out

  • Turn in money to ASB window, notify them it is for XC or Track and Field

    • You will receive a receipt

  • Submit receipt to Coach Storey

• Spirit Pack

  • A minimum of 75% of the spirit pack payment is due before receiving it.

• YouthRaise

  • Raise a donation of $100
